Abstract

An electrically operated fueling and/or charging flap system for a vehicle has a movable closure flap which can be moved between a closed position and an open position in order to connect an external connecting part to the opened flap system in order to electrically charge and/or fuel the vehicle and reclose the flap system after the charging or fueling process. An emergency opening tool with an elongated design for manually opening the closure flap in the event of a malfunction is designed to be inserted into a joint gap between the body element of the vehicle and the closure flap and subsequently pull open and/or lever open the closure flap. In a method for an emergency opening process of the fueling or charging flap system, an end section of the emergency opening tool is inserted into the joint gap between the body element and the closure flap, and the closure flap is thus pulled open or levered open.
