Hybrid drive device

A hybrid drive device comprising:

• a first rotary electric machine disposed on a first axis;
• an input member disposed on the first axis and drivingly connected to an engine;
• a second rotary electric machine disposed on a second axis different from the first axis;
• an output member that is drivingly connected to the second rotary electric machine and outputs rotation;
• a power distribution planetary gear mechanism including a first rotary element drivingly connected to the first rotary electric machine, a second rotary element drivingly connected to the input member, and a third rotary element drivingly connected to the output member, the planetary gear mechanism being disposed on the first axis;
• a brake unit that locks rotation of the third rotary element relative to a case;
• and
• a clutch unit interposed between the third rotary element and the output member and configured to disconnect the third rotary element and the output member, wherein
• when a direction orthogonal to the first axis is a first radial direction,
• the clutch unit is disposed on the first axis and disposed on an outer circumferential side of the planetary gear mechanism to overlap the planetary gear mechanism in a first radial view along the first radial direction.
