Abstract
A cable with molded body includes a conductor wire, a sheath covering the conductor wire, and a molded body made of a resin material and covering an outer circumferential surface of the sheath at a portion in the longitudinal direction, wherein a groove extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the sheath, and the resin material enters and fills the groove.
Claims11
A cable with molded body, comprising:
- a conductor wire;
- a sheath covering the conductor wire;
- and
- a molded body comprising a resin material and covering an outer circumferential surface of the sheath at a portion in a longitudinal direction,
- wherein a groove extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the sheath, and the resin material enters and fills the groove.
A method for manufacturing a cable with molded body that comprises a conductor wire, a sheath covering the conductor wire, and a molded body comprising a resin material and covering an outer circumferential surface of the sheath at a portion in a longitudinal direction, the method comprising:
- forming a groove on the outer circumferential surface of the sheath, the groove extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction;
- and
- molding the molded body by placing the sheath with the groove formed thereon in a mold and injecting a molten resin into the mold.
