Abstract

Systems and methods for manufacturing vent frames with integrated screen are disclosed. A method may include: providing a lower portion of a mold for a frame to a machine, the lower portion of the mold having an opening; providing a screen for the frame over the opening in the lower portion of the mold and temporarily holding the screen in place; providing an upper portion of the mold over the lower portion of the mold and the screen; injecting a hot material into the mold; separating the upper portion of the mold from the lower portion of the mold; and removing the frame from the mold, wherein the screen is integrated into the frame.
