Abstract
A foam board cutter configured with dual retractable cutting blades that may be extended and retracted by dual blade actuation mechanisms which may be parallel to one another and independently operable. Each blade actuation mechanism of the cutter may include a slider button assembly operably connected to a blade holder configured to hold a blade.

A cutting device, comprising:
- a housing;
- an intermediate member disposed at least partially within the housing, the intermediate member having a rear end with one or more elongated protrusions extending beyond a rear of the housing;
- an end cap configured to slide along the one or more elongated protrusions in a vertical direction to detachably connect with the rear end of the intermediate member;
- and
- at least one blade holder supported within the housing and configured to retain a blade.

A cutting device, comprising:
- a body comprising a housing and an intermediate member disposed at least partially within the housing, wherein at least one recess is defined between the intermediate member and the housing, the at least one recess opening at a rear end of the body;
- at least one blade holder configured to retain a blade, the at least one blade holder being insertable into and removable from the body through the at least one recess;
- and
- a removable end cap configured to selectively attach to the rear end of the body and to cover the at least one recess when attached to the rear end of the body.

- a blade cartridge assembly comprising a blade holder configured to retain a blade and a slider button assembly configured to move along a slider track,
- the slider button assembly comprising:
- a slider button having a slider post extending from a bottom surface thereof, the slider post comprising a pair of wing elements extending from opposing side surfaces thereof;

- a base plate having a shaped opening configured to receive the slider post, and a shaped member comprising a pair of arm elements extending from a flexible base portion which extends from a surface of the base plate,
- wherein at least a portion of the shaped member is configured to move relative to the shaped opening upon application of a force on the slider button.
