An ergonomic hammer/axe structure includes a handle and a striking component. The handle includes a first body, second body, and third body sequentially connected from distal end to proximal end. A central axis of the first body is inclined upward relative to a central axis of the second body by a first inclination angle. A central axis of the third body is inclined downward relative to the central axis of the second body by a second inclination angle. The striking component is disposed perpendicularly on first body. When a user grips third body and swings handle downward to cause striking component to strike a nail, striking component impacts the nail squarely via angular correction provided by first and second inclination angles, maintaining neutral wrist alignment and preventing the user's palm and thenar web space from being overextended. The striking component defines a parabolic surface.
