Slurry dispersion system with real time control

A method, comprising:

• sampling a mixed slurry outputted from a supply tank to obtain a sampled slurry;
• measuring a large particle count (LPC) value and a zeta potential value of the sampled slurry;
• comparing the measured LPC value with a predetermined LPC threshold and comparing the measured zeta potential value with a predetermined zeta potential threshold;
• and
• in response to determining that the measured LPC value is less than or equal to the predetermined LPC threshold and that the measured zeta potential value is less than or equal to the predetermined zeta potential threshold, generating control signals to direct a reactor to stop transporting additional mixed slurry to the supply tank.

A method, comprising:

• extracting a sample of a mixed slurry from a supply tank;
• measuring a zeta potential value of the extracted sample;
• determining whether the measured zeta potential value is greater than a predetermined zeta potential threshold;
• in response to determining that the measured zeta potential value is greater than the predetermined zeta potential threshold, calculating a replacement quantity for the mixed slurry based on a difference between the measured zeta potential value and a target zeta potential value;
• and
• performing a renewal operation on the mixed slurry in the supply tank, wherein the renewal operation comprises discharging an outgoing quantity of the mixed slurry from the supply tank and providing an incoming quantity of a fresh mixed slurry from a reactor to the supply tank, wherein the outgoing quantity and the incoming quantity are determined based on the calculated replacement quantity.
