Abstract

A method for repairing a mounting assembly using a repair kit including a repair screw element, wherein a stud bolt of the mounting assembly connected to a first component of the mounting assembly has broken off. The method includes providing the repair screw element with a screw element sleeve and a screw element head connected thereto. An internal thread of the screw element sleeve corresponds to an external thread remnant of a stud bolt remnant of the stud bolt to form a repair threaded connection. The method includes forming a repair threaded connection between the external thread remnant and the repair screw element by screwing the screw element sleeve through an opening arrangement of a part arrangement and by means of the sleeve internal thread with the external thread remnant. The method includes clamping the part arrangement between the screw element head and the first component.
