Abstract
A method for manufacturing a stabilizer using a columnar member includes: bending the columnar member to form the columnar member into a shape of the stabilizer; quenching the columnar member after the bending; and tempering the columnar member after the quenching. At least one of the quenching and the tempering includes changing a relative positional relationship between both of end portions of the columnar member at a time of heating.
Claims4
A method for manufacturing a stabilizer using a columnar member, the method comprising:
- bending the columnar member to form the columnar member into a shape of the stabilizer;
- quenching the columnar member after the bending;
- and
- tempering the columnar member after the quenching,
- wherein at least one of the quenching and the tempering includes changing a relative positional relationship between both of end portions of the columnar member at a time of heating.
