Abstract
A fluid reservoir for a paint spray gun has a material outlet which is designed for direct and/or indirect connection to a paint spray gun and a material container with a screw cap which closes the material container. When the material container and screw cap are connected in a releasable and fluid-tight manner, thereby forming a screw connection, an upper rim region of the material container is to be arranged in a receiving groove on the screw cap. The upper rim region of the material container has a projecting circumferential sealing element which is brought into planar sealing contact with a sealing surface of the screw cap.

A fluid reservoir for a paint spray gun, the fluid reservoir comprising:
- a material outlet configured and dimensioned for direct and/or indirect connection to a paint spray gun,
- a material container with a screw cap which closes the material container and has a fluid reservoir longitudinal axis,
- wherein, when the material container and screw cap are connected in a releasable and fluid-tight manner thereby forming a screw connection, an upper rim region of the material container is receivable in a receiving groove on the screw cap,
- wherein the upper rim region of the material container has a projecting circumferential sealing element which is brought into planar sealing contact with a sealing surface of the screw cap.
