Abstract
Catalysts and methods of hydrogenating carbon dioxide (CO2) using the catalysts. The catalyst contains Fe; one or more alkali metals selected from the group consisting of sodium (Na) and potassium (K); and one or more metals selected from the group consisting of copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), and magnesium (Mg). A molar ratio of Fe to the one or more metals can be from about 2:1 to 2:3.
