Abstract
The present disclosure provides a draw solute, a draw solution containing the draw solute, and a water treatment method using the draw solution.
Claims14
A draw solute comprising a polymer having an amine compound-derived structure and at least one structure selected from the group consisting of an oxyalkylene structure derived from an alkylene oxide having from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and a substituted oxyethylene structure derived from a glycidyl ether compound,
- wherein the draw solute has a viscosity at 25° C. of 500 mPa·s or less,
- and wherein the amine compound-derived structure is represented by General Formula (1a), (1b), or (1c):
- where R1 and R2 in General Formulae (1a) and (1b) are each an alkyl group or an aryl group, and R1 and R2 in General Formula (1a) optionally form a ring structure;
- and further, a notation “N—*” in General Formulae (1a), (1b), and (1c) means a structure from a nitrogen atom to a terminal of a bond extending therefrom.

- R1 and R2 in General Formulae (1a) and (1b) are each an alkyl group or an aryl group, and R1 and R2 in General Formula (1a) optionally form a ring structure;
- and further, a notation “N—*” in General Formulae (1a), (1b), and (1c) means a structure from a nitrogen atom to a terminal of a bond extending therefrom,
- the polymer is any of polymers described below:
- (1) a polymer having a structure in which two or more types of alkylene oxides each having from 2 to 20 carbon atoms are added to the amine compound;
- (2) a polymer having a structure in which two or more types of glycidyl ether compounds are added to the amine compound;
- and
- (3) a polymer having a structure in which both an alkylene oxide having from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and a glycidyl ether compound are added to the amine compound, and
- the polymer has a number average molecular weight Mn of from 100 to 5000,
- and wherein the draw solute has a viscosity at 25° C. of 500 mPa·s or less.
