Abstract

A deaerator includes: a deaerating module having a tube unit that has gas permeability and partitions between a fluid flowing space and a depressurized space; a vacuum piping that is connected to the deaerating module to communicate with the depressurized space in the deaerating module; and a discharge device connected to the vacuum piping and configured to discharge a gas in the depressurized space to outside via the vacuum piping, in which the vacuum piping has: a suction pipe portion that communicates with the depressurized space and extends from the deaerating module to the discharge device, and a buffer pipe portion that is branched off from the suction pipe portion and is closed at an end portion thereof.
