Method and apparatus for using virtual throwable item, device, and storage medium

A computer device, comprising a processor and a memory, the memory storing at least one section of computer program, and the processor being configured to execute the at least one section of computer program in the memory to implement a method for operating a virtual throwable item in a virtual environment, the method including:

• displaying a first virtual object and a release control of a virtual throwable item in a virtual environment;
• displaying an auxiliary control of the virtual throwable item in response to a pre-trigger operation for the release control;
• changing an aiming direction of the virtual throwable item from a first direction to a second direction in response to a first trigger operation for the auxiliary control, the second direction being a direction from the first virtual object to a second virtual object in the virtual environment;
• and
• causing the first virtual object to throw the virtual throwable item in the second direction in response to a second trigger operation for the release control.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having an executable computer program stored therein, the computer program being loaded and executed by a processor of a computer device and causing the computer device to implement a method for operating a virtual throwable item in a virtual environment including:

• displaying a first virtual object and a release control of a virtual throwable item in a virtual environment;
• displaying an auxiliary control of the virtual throwable item in response to a pre-trigger operation for the release control;
• changing an aiming direction of the virtual throwable item from a first direction to a second direction in response to a first trigger operation for the auxiliary control, the second direction being a direction from the first virtual object to a second virtual object in the virtual environment;
• and
• causing the first virtual object to throw the virtual throwable item in the second direction in response to a second trigger operation for the release control.
