Abstract
A novel golf ball tracking apparatus, system, and method for integrating a first stage golf game simulator with an actual putting green and a second stage golf ball putt tracking and recording system in which the player's putting strokes are tracked and recorded in real time and automatically incorporated into the simulator scoring for the player's total score.
Claims8
A golf ball tracking system for total hole scoring in a simulated golf game in real time comprising:
- a first stage golf simulator, said first stage golf course simulator generating first stage information pertaining to a player playing said first stage golf simulator;
- said information generated as said player hits a golf ball against a matt;
- and
- a second stage tracking and recording system, said second stage tracking and recording system comprising:
- a putting green, said putting green comprises a putting green hole, said putting green located near said first stage golf simulator;
- an indication device;
- said indication device pointing to a location on said putting green, said location on said putting green correlating with first stage information about where said player must place or drop the golf ball before proceeding to putt the golf ball towards the putting green hole;
- a putt tracking and recording device;
- said putt tracking and recording device tracks and records a movement of said golf ball;
- wherein said golf ball tracking and recording device tracks said movement of said golf ball and determines if said movement is a putt or not a putt, and if a putt, said golf ball tracking and recording device increases a stroke count, received from said first stage golf simulator, in real time.
