Abstract
An exercise device includes a grip member extending along a longitudinal axis, a first hook member coupled to a first end of the grip member and a second hook member positioned opposite of the first hook member and coupled to a second end of the grip member. Each of the first hook member and the second hook member include a hook opening that receives an attachment element, a lip portion positioned adjacent the hook opening, and a stopper wall positioned opposite the hook opening. The lip portion and the stopper wall cooperate to retain the attachment element within the hook member when tension is applied to the attachment element.

An exercise device comprising:
- a grip member extending along a longitudinal axis and configured to be grasped by a user;
- a first hook member coupled to a first end of the grip member;
- and
- a second hook member positioned opposite of the first hook member and coupled to a second end of the grip member;
- wherein each of the first hook member and the second hook member include:
- a hook opening configured to receive an attachment element;
- a lip portion positioned adjacent the hook opening;
- and
- a stopper wall positioned opposite the hook opening;
- wherein the lip portion and the stopper wall cooperate to retain the attachment element within the hook member when tension is applied to the attachment element.
An exercise system comprising:
- an exercise device including a grip member and a pair of opposing hook members positioned at opposite ends of the grip member;
- and
- at least one attachment element configured to be inserted laterally into a hook opening of at least one of the hook members;
- wherein the hook member includes a lip portion and a stopper wall configured to retain the attachment element within the hook member when the attachment element is placed under tension.
A hook member for an exercise device comprising:
- a hook opening configured to receive an attachment element through lateral insertion;
- a lip portion positioned adjacent the hook opening;
- and
- a stopper wall positioned opposite the hook opening,
- wherein the lip portion and the stopper wall are configured to cooperate to retain the attachment element within the hook member when the attachment element is subjected to tension.
