Abstract
Methods and compositions for increasing neurogenesis and for preventing or treating diseases, disorders or conditions associated with neurodegeneration, are provided herein.

A method of treating a subject suffering from one or more signs of neurodegeneration, wherein the method comprises:
- delivering to the subject a MuSK neurogenesis (NG) agonizing agent comprising an antibody agent;
- wherein the antibody agent binds to the Ig3 domain of a MuSK polypeptide and/or to BMP so that the level or activity of protein-protein complexes that include a MuSK polypeptide with a functional Ig3 complexed with BMP is reduced.
