Abstract
A shampoo composition comprises a surfactant system comprising an anionic surfactant; a conditioning agent comprising a botanical oil; about 0.5 wt. % to about 3 wt. % of an associative thickener; and a liquid carrier. The associative thickener can be a hydrophobically modified polyether. The composition can be substantially silicone-free.
Claims20
A shampoo composition comprising:
- a) a surfactant system comprising an anionic surfactant;
- b) a conditioning agent comprising a botanical oil;
- c) about 0.5 wt. % to about 3 wt. % of an associative thickener;
- and
- d) a liquid carrier,
- wherein the composition has a viscosity of about 2000 mPa-s to about 20,000 mPa-s, according to the Rheology method.
