Abstract

An alkenyl-group-containing polyoxyalkylene compound of Formula (1), R1O-(AO)n-R2 (1), where AO is an oxyalkylene group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms obtained by a dehydration condensation reaction using a phosphinic acid or a phosphinic acid salt, n represents an average number of moles of AO added and is from 3 to 90, R1 is an alkenyl group having from 3 to 5 carbon atoms, R2 is an alkenyl group having from 3 to 5 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom, and a ratio (Mw/Mn) between a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a number average molecular weight (Mn) that are calculated from a chromatogram obtained by gel permeation chromatography measurement is from 1.20 to 5.00.
