Abstract
The invention generally relates to dispersion stabilizing agents comprising 65% or more of cellulose gum, 5% to 25% of carrageenan, 5% to 25% of carob gum, 0.1% to 4% of xanthan gum, and 0.1% to 4% of inulin, in wt % of the dispersion stabilizing agent; and to cosmetic formulations comprising said dispersion stabilizing agents. The invention also relates to methods of increasing the stability of cosmetic formulations such as emulsions or suspensions.
Claims14
A dispersion stabilizing agent, comprising:
- about 65% or more of cellulose gum,
- about 5% to about 25% of carrageenan,
- about 5% to about 25% of carob gum,
- about 0.1% to about 4% of xanthan gum, and
- about 0.1% to about 4% of inulin,
- in wt % of the dispersion stabilizing agent.
