A cosmetic preparation, wherein the preparation comprises:
- (a) one or more salts of terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid,
- (b) one or more glycols,
- (c) water.
A method of increasing the solubility of a salt of terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid in an aqueous phase of a cosmetic preparation, wherein the method comprises incorporating in the cosmetic preparation one or more glycols.
