A method for outputting a notification signal for medication intake in an electronic device, the method comprising:

• displaying a clock screen including an icon for at least one medication, based on medication intake schedule information;
• identifying a notification time for taking the at least one medication, based on the medication intake schedule information;
• identifying an adjustment condition for a medication intake-related notification signal, based on the identified notification time;
• adjusting an output timing of the medication intake-related notification signal for taking the at least one medication, based on the identified adjustment condition for the medication intake-related notification signal;
• and
• displaying a visual effect corresponding to the icon included in the clock screen, based on the adjusted output timing.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing one or more computer programs including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of an electronic device individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• displaying a clock screen including an icon for at least one medication, based on medication intake schedule information;
• identifying a notification time for taking the at least one medication, based on the medication intake schedule information;
• identifying an adjustment condition for a medication intake-related notification signal, based on the identified notification time;
• adjusting an output timing of the medication intake-related notification signal for taking the at least one medication, based on the identified adjustment condition for the medication intake-related notification signal;
• and
• displaying a visual effect corresponding to the icon included in the clock screen, based on the adjusted output timing.
