Abstract

Disclosed is a belt part for donning on the torso of a wearer for forming a pant absorbent article with a crotch part, the belt part having a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction, a distal edge, a proximal edge, a pair of side seams, and having elasticity in the transverse direction, the belt part formed by a front belt and a back belt, the belt part comprising a belt fastening means detachable with the crotch part. At least one of the front belt or the back belt comprises a belt notch, the belt notch positioned on the proximal edge and having a longitudinal dimension of from about 20% to about 40% of the respective belt, the belt notch positioned on the transverse center and having a transverse dimension of from about 10% to about 30% of the respective belt.
