Abstract
A protective goggle in accordance with the present teachings may include a pair of film canisters integrated into a goggle frame of the goggle. At least a portion of each of the film canisters is formed by an integral part of the goggle frame. The pair of canisters are configured to facilitate indexing a protective lens film across a front surface of a lens of the goggle. The lens of the goggle is configured to be operatively coupled to a front side of the goggle frame utilizing at least one latch mechanism of the goggle frame.

A protective goggle, comprising:
- a goggle frame including a first frame segment forming a lens receiving area configured to receive a lens of the goggle, wherein the goggle frame further comprises:
- a first integral canister configured to contain a supply roll of a lens film;
- and
- a second integral canister configured to contain a take-up roll of the lens film;
- wherein a first integral part of the goggle frame forms at least a first portion of the first integral canister and a second integral part of the goggle frame forms at least a second portion of the second integral canister.
