Method for providing information for the prediction of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

An apparatus for providing information for a prediction of a left ventricular outflow tract obstruction in a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the apparatus comprising:

• a communication interface;
• a memory;
• and
• a processor operatively connected with the communication interface and the memory, the processor configured to:
• obtain an echocardiographic image of a patient and perform pre-processing;
• extract spatial structural features and temporal motion features of a myocardium, either individually or in combination, using a single echocardiographic image as an input, to input the pre-processed echocardiographic image to an artificial intelligence model that is pre-trained to predict whether there is the left ventricular outflow tract obstruction based on the extracted features and to output a prediction result;
• and
• generate prognostic assessment information for the patient based on the prediction result, when a prediction result based on the pre-processed echocardiographic image is output from the artificial intelligence model.
