Implantable pressure sensor and monitoring system

Abstract

The present invention provides an implantable pressure sensor and a monitoring sensor. The detection sensor includes an inflatable bag to be implanted into a site to be measured; a first gas pressure sensor disposed in an environment in gas communication with interior of the inflatable bag, for measuring an gas pressure value inside the inflatable bag. Combination of the inflatable bag and the first gas pressure sensor enables implantable pressure monitoring, and reducing volume and size of the detection sensor. Direct measurement of intracranial pressure via the inflatable bag results in accurate intracranial pressure values and prevents brain tissue from being exposed to injury risks. The detection sensor further includes a first wireless power supply and communication module, which wirelessly powers internal components of the detection sensor and directly transmits measured parameters to an external receiver.
