An ocular feedback apparatus and method are disclosed herein. An ocular feedback apparatus includes a wearable support structure carrying at least one inwardly directed camera configured to capture images of at least one eye of a user. A memory stores a library of eye movement patterns correlated with respective emotional states and population data. A processor extracts eye movement features from the images and generates user eye movement data. The processor compares the user eye movement data with the stored eye movement patterns using the outcome population data and determines a predicted emotional state based on the comparison. In certain embodiments, the predicted emotional state is updated in real time as images are captured. The apparatus may output the predicted emotional state to a display, transmit the predicted emotional state to an external device, or correlate the predicted emotional state with environmental data.
