Abstract
A medical device system may include a handle having first and second portions, with the first portion being axially displaceable relative to the second portion. One or more snap members may extend from the body member, each having a radially inwardly extending protrusion. The second portion may include a plurality of recesses configured to selectively receive the radially inwardly extending protrusions of the snap members, enabling selective locking engagement between the first and second portions.
Claims20
A medical device system comprising:
- a handle having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being axially displaceable relative to the second portion, the first portion comprising:
- a body member having a central lumen extending therethrough;
- one or more snap members extending from the body member, each snap member including a radially inwardly extending protrusion;
- and
- wherein the second portion includes a plurality of recesses configured to selectively receive the radially inwardly extending protrusions of the one or more snap members.
A medical device system comprising:
- a handle having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being axially displaceable relative to the second portion, the first portion comprising:
- a proximal body member and a distal body member;
- wherein the proximal body member is rotatable relative to the distal body member;
- and
- wherein the proximal and distal body members are axially coupled such that axial movement of one of the proximal or distal body members causes axial movement of the other of the proximal or distal body members.
A medical device system comprising:
- an elongate tube having a proximal end and a distal end;
- a wire filament extending through the elongate tube;
- a handle coupled to the proximal end of the elongate tube, the handle including:
- a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being axially displaceable relative to the second portion;
- wherein the first portion includes one or more snap members;
- and
- wherein the second portion includes a plurality of recesses configured to selectively receive protrusions of the one or more snap members.
