Abstract
The present invention relates to a dishwasher configured such that, among multiple discharge ports, a first discharge port functions as an inlet for washing water and a second discharge port functions as an outlet for washing water. Therefore, during a washing course, food waste having been introduced into a discharge guide through the first discharge port or the second discharge port together with washing water is discharged again through the second discharge port by the washing water, so that pollution of an internal structure of the discharge guide by the food waste can be minimized.
Claims15
A dishwasher comprising:
- a tub forming a washing space and accommodating tableware;
- a drying device generating an airflow for drying the tableware;
- and
- a discharge guide having an internal flow space which changes a flow direction of air passing through the drying device, and a first discharge port being open toward a horizontal direction and through which air passing through the internal flow space is discharged,
- wherein the discharge guide includes a plate-shaped guide wall disposed at a position spaced apart in a direction away from the first discharge port, and
- wherein between the first discharge port and the guide wall a gap is formed which is open toward the washing space.
