Cleaning assembly and cleaning apparatus having same

A cleaning assembly, comprising a cleaning member for contacting a floor to clean the floor, wherein

• the cleaning member comprises an inner cylindrical portion and an outer cylindrical portion, a deformation portion is provided between the inner cylindrical portion and the outer cylindrical portion, and a deformation zone is provided on either side of the deformation portion;
• at least the outer cylindrical portion and the deformation portion are flexible and deformable;
• the outer cylindrical portion has an outer surface, which is configured to be in a continuous surface structure when the outer cylindrical portion is not in contact with the floor, and is configured to at least partially come into contact with the floor and to be recessed towards the deformation zone to form a dirt accommodating space having a concave structure when the outer cylindrical portion is pressed on the floor;
• the dirt accommodating space has an opening, allowing the dirt accommodating space to open towards the floor, and
• the dirt accommodating space is configured to carry and transfer solid matter or a mixture of solid matter and liquid on the floor when the cleaning member is rotated or rolled on the floor.
