Abstract
The present application provides an improved food roasting apparatus and method of use thereof. The roasting apparatus includes a tailpiece section, a handle section, a rise section, a run section and a tip section. The tailpiece section is securable to a cooking fixture. An angle between the tailpiece section and the handle section is obtuse. An angle between the handle section and the rise section is obtuse. An angle between the rise section and the run section is obtuse. An angle between the run section and the tip section is obtuse.
Claims10
A roasting apparatus comprising:
- a rod including a tailpiece section, a handle section, a rise section, a run section and a tip section, wherein
- an angle between the tailpiece section and the handle section is obtuse,
- an angle between the handle section and the rise section is obtuse,
- an angle between the rise section and the run section is obtuse, and
- an angle between the run section and the tip section is obtuse;
- and
- an L-bracket including a first leg and a second leg joined along a common edge, the common edge defining a reference line,
- the first leg comprising a flat sheet including a first hole having a diameter sized to receive the rod therethrough, and
- the second leg also comprising a flat sheet including a proximal portion including the common edge and a distal portion extending from the proximal portion, wherein a width of the distal portion, measured in a direction parallel to that of the reference line, is less than a width of the proximal portion as also measured in the same direction, wherein the proximal portion includes an aperture disposed therethrough, and wherein the width of the distal portion is sized to fit into a hole defined by a helper handle of a pan and the aperture is sized to receive a handle of the pan therethrough.
