Abstract

An environmentally friendly and healthy mattress, includes from top to bottom a fabric layer, a comfort layer, a spacer layer, a mattress body, and a base cloth. The comfort layer includes a fiber rebound layer made from flame-retardant fibers. The mattress body includes a plurality of individually pocketed springs. Pockets of the plurality of individually pocketed springs are made from flame-retardant fibers, and adjacent pockets are connected through hot-melt adhesive. Compared to traditional spongy matrix layer and the latex layer in the prior art, the comfort layer including the fiber rebound layer demonstrates more advantages in aging resistance, flame retardancy, breathability, comfort, and longer service life, and also overcomes the defects including bacterial proliferation caused by aging and moisture absorption of sponge and latex, as well as difficulty of recycling. The mattress possesses overall superior fire resistance, operational safety, aging resistance, breathability, comfort, and longer service life.
