Abstract
A mitten which provides an innovative hand covering for people working outside handling chemicals, solvents, or dirty materials in liquid form. The main body of the mitten comprises two layers including an outer layer made of polyester microfibers and an inner layer made of rubberized material, such as a polyurethane foam. The polyurethane foam has a mixture of open and closed cells, creating a water resistant membrane. The microfiber material in the outer layer of the mitten has a moisture wicking rubberized material adhered to the inside keeping water, oil, conditioner, wax, detailers, tire shines and any other non-flammable liquids off your hands.

A utility mitten comprising:
- two or more layers of material forming a mitten shape;
- wherein
- an outermost layer of the two or more layers completely envelopes each of the other two or more layers;
- an innermost layer of the two or more layers is structured to form a cavity with an opening at the base, a thumb section, and a fingers section;
- each of the two or more layers is bound to each adjacent layer of the two or more layers;
- the outermost layer comprises a material absorbent of liquids;
- and
- the innermost layer comprises a material impermeable to one or more liquids.
A utility mitten comprising:
- two or more layers of material forming a mitten shape;
- wherein
- an outermost layer of the two or more layers completely envelopes each of the other two or more layers;
- an innermost layer of the two or more layers is structured to form a cavity with an opening at the base, a thumb section, and a fingers section;
- each of the two or more layers is bound to each adjacent layer of the two or more layers;
- the outermost layer comprises an absorbent microfiber material absorbent of liquids;
- and
- the innermost layer comprises a material impermeable to one or more liquids.
A utility mitten comprising:
- two or more layers of material forming a mitten shape;
- an elastic band;
- wherein
- an outermost layer of the two or more layers completely envelopes each of the other two or more layers;
- an innermost layer of the two or more layers is structured to form a cavity with an opening at the base, a thumb section, and a fingers section;
- each of the two or more layers is bound to each adjacent layer of the two or more layers;
- the outermost layer comprises an absorbent microfiber material absorbent of liquids;
- the innermost layer comprises a foam rubber material impermeable to one or more liquids;
- and
- the elastic band being attached to the innermost layer of material at the opening of the formed cavity.
