Abstract
Aerosol precursor compositions adapted for use in an aerosol delivery device are provided. The aerosol precursor compositions include an aerosol former, nicotine, and an organic acid component which includes a monomenthyl ester of a dicarboxylic acid. The disclosure further provides devices and kits incorporating such aerosol precursor compositions.

A liquid aerosol precursor composition adapted for use in an aerosol delivery device, the liquid aerosol precursor composition comprising:
- an aerosol former;
- nicotine;
- and
- an organic acid component comprising a monomenthyl ester of a dicarboxylic acid.
