Abstract
Various examples disclosed relate to a sanitizing solution formulation. The present disclosure includes isopropyl alcohol in a range from about 70% to about 90% by weight of a first part, and hydrogen peroxide in a range of about 6% to about 8% by weight or less of a second part. The first part and the second part having a ratio of about 6:4 to a ratio of about 4:6 by volume. The first part and the second part are applied simultaneously to a surface to produce the sanitizing solution.
Claims20
A sanitizing solution formulation comprising:
- isopropyl alcohol in a range from about 70% to about 90% by weight of a first part;
- and
- hydrogen peroxide in a range of about 6% to about 8% by weight or less of a second part;
- the first part and the second part having a ratio of about 6:4 to a ratio of about 4:6 by volume,
- wherein the first part and the second part are applied simultaneously to a surface to produce the sanitizing solution, and
- wherein the sanitizing solution has a residual mass content of less than about 0.4 mg/g when assessed at least 5 minutes following application to the surface.
A sanitizing solution formulation comprising 40% isopropyl alcohol and 3% to 4% hydrogen peroxide, wherein the formulation has a volatile organic content (VOC) of less than about 50 wt. %, a mass residual content of less than about 0.3 mg/g, and a residual total organic carbon (TOC) content of less than about 0.1 mg/g.
