Abstract
A reel seat comprises a reel seat body having a placement portion on which mounting leg portions of a reel are placed; and a fixed hood and a movable hood each of which has a tubular shape and is provided so as to face the reel seat body. At least one of the fixed hood or the movable hood is provided with an extending portion extending while reducing in diameter toward the other. The extending portion is configured to be provided with a partial notch portion.

A reel seat comprising:
- a reel seat body having a placement portion on which a mounting leg portion of a reel is placed;
- and a fixed hood and a movable hood each of which has a tubular shape and is provided so as to face the reel seat body, wherein
- at least one of the fixed hood or the movable hood is formed with an extending portion extending while reducing in diameter toward the other, and
- the extending portion comprises a notch portion that is partially notched.
