Bark stopping method and bark stopping device

A bark stopping method, comprising operations of:

• identifying a barking sound of a dog in a current environment;
• emitting a repellent sound wave toward the dog when a bark stopping device executing the bark stopping method is in a first mode;
• stopping emission of the repellent sound wave upon expiration of a first preset duration;
• judging whether a barking sound exists within a subsequent first preset time period;
• if the barking sound exists within the first preset time period, judging whether a frequency of the repellent sound wave has crossed a preset first threshold;
• if the frequency of the repellent sound wave has not crossed the preset first threshold, adjusting the frequency of the repellent sound wave according to a preset rule;
• and
• continuing to emit the repellent sound wave toward the dog, and stopping emission of the repellent sound wave upon expiration of a second preset duration.
