Abstract
Systems and methods for monitoring the operation of one or more crop processing components of an agricultural harvesting machine. Sensor data from an event based sensor is indicative of a measure of a flow of material from a spreader tool of the harvesting machine. This is used to identify one or more anomalous flow regions with the material flow; and subsequently operation of one or more operable components associated with the agricultural machine can be controlled in dependence on the identified anomalous flow region(s).
Claims20
A system for monitoring the operation of one or more crop processing components of an agricultural harvesting machine, the system comprising:
- an event based sensor;
- and
- one or more controllers, configured to:
- receive sensor data from the event based sensor indicative of a measure of a flow of material from a spreader tool of the harvesting machine;
- analyse the sensor data to identify one or more anomalous flow regions with the material flow;
- and
- output one or more control signals for controlling operation of one or more operable components associated with the agricultural machine in dependence on the identified anomalous flow region(s).
