Display device, manufacturing method of the same and electronic device

A method for manufacturing a display device comprising:

• forming light emitting elements, a light emitting element of the light emitting elements comprising a plurality of semiconductor layers on a semiconductor substrate;
• forming a protective layer of the light emitting element and a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode covering one side and a side surface of the light emitting element;
• transferring the light emitting element onto a first organic layer coated on an entire surface of a circuit substrate covering a pixel electrode and a common electrode on the circuit substrate;
• and
• forming a first connection electrode connecting the pixel electrode and the first contact electrode and a second connection electrode connecting the common electrode and the second contact electrode by a photo process,
• wherein 10% or more and 60% or less of the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode on the side surface of the light emitting element are embedded in the first organic layer.

An electronic device comprising:

• a display panel;
• a window on the display panel;
• and
• a bottom cover located below the display panel,
• wherein the display panel comprises:
• a substrate;
• a pixel electrode and a common electrode spaced from each other on the substrate;
• a first organic layer covering at least a portion of the pixel electrode and the common electrode;
• and
• a light emitting element on the first organic layer, the light emitting element comprising a plurality of semiconductor layers, a first contact electrode, and a second contact electrode,
• wherein the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode are respectively located on one surface and a side surface of the light emitting element, and are spaced from a top surface of the light emitting element, and
• wherein the first organic layer covers 10% or more and 60% or less of the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode located on the side surface of the light emitting element.
