The present disclosure relates to a method for configuring a personalized picture quality by reflecting a user's subjective picture quality preference characteristics, and the method may comprise: receiving a command for selecting a plurality of images from an image list; obtaining a plurality of scores of a plurality of picture quality elements corresponding to the plurality of respective images selected according to the received command; calculating an average score and a variance score of each picture quality element on the basis of the obtained plurality of scores; obtaining initial picture quality configuration values on the basis of the calculated average score and variance score; and generating picture quality configuration values adjusted from the initial picture quality configuration values by using an picture quality adjustment model.
