Abstract
A method and a device for decoding/encoding an image, according to the present disclosure, may comprise: dividing a current block into a plurality of partitions including a first partition and a second partition; deriving a first prediction block of the first partition; deriving a second prediction block of the second partition; and deriving a prediction block of the current block on the basis of the first prediction block and the second prediction block. Here, at least one of the first prediction block or the second prediction block may be derived by using bidirectional prediction.
Claims15
An image decoding method, comprising:
- partitioning a current block into a plurality of partitions, wherein the plurality of partitions includes a first partition and a second partition;
- deriving a first prediction block of the first partition;
- deriving a second prediction block of the second partition;
- and
- deriving a prediction block of the current block based on the first prediction block and the second prediction block,
- wherein at least one of the first prediction block or the second prediction block is derived through bidirectional prediction.
An image encoding method, comprising:
- partitioning a current block into a plurality of partitions, wherein the plurality of partitions includes a first partition and a second partition;
- deriving a first prediction block of the first partition;
- deriving a second prediction block of the second partition;
- and
- deriving a prediction block of the current block based on the first prediction block and the second prediction block,
- wherein at least one of the first prediction block or the second prediction block is derived through bidirectional prediction.
A computer-readable storage medium storing a bitstream generated by an image encoding method, the image encoding method comprising:
- partitioning a current block into a plurality of partitions, wherein the plurality of partitions includes a first partition and a second partition;
- deriving a first prediction block of the first partition;
- deriving a second prediction block of the second partition;
- and
- deriving a prediction block of the current block based on the first prediction block and the second prediction block,
- wherein at least one of the first prediction block or the second prediction block is derived through bidirectional prediction.
A method for transmitting data, comprising:
- obtaining a bitstream for image information, wherein the bitstream is generated based on partitioning a current block into a plurality of partitions including a first partition and a second partition, deriving a first prediction block of the first partition, deriving a second prediction block of the second partition, and deriving a prediction block of the current block based on the first prediction block and the second prediction block;
- and
- transmitting the data including the bitstream,
- wherein at least one of the first prediction block or the second prediction block is derived through bidirectional prediction.
