Systems and methods for remote control in information technology infrastructure

A system, comprising:

• one or more processors executing computer-readable instructions to:
• identify a code corresponding to a communication session;
• transmit, to an augmented reality device, a link that indicates the code;
• receive, from the augmented reality device, a request to communicate via the communication session, the request comprising the code;
• establish the communication session with a data feed from a camera;
• receive, from a remote technician device, an indication to guide the camera towards a position;
• and
• provide, for display on a display device of the augmented reality device, a guide icon based on the indication to guide the camera.

A method, comprising:

• identifying, by one or more processors, a code corresponding to a communication session;
• transmitting, by the one or more processors, to an augmented reality device, a link that indicates the code;
• receiving, by the one or more processors, from the augmented reality device, a request to communicate via the communication session, the request comprising the code;
• establishing, by the one or more processors, the communication session with a data feed from a camera;
• receiving, by the one or more processors, from a remote technician device, an indication to guide the camera towards a position;
• and
• providing, by the one or more processors, for display on a display device of the augmented reality device, a guide icon based on the indication to guide the camera.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

• identify a code corresponding to a communication session;
• transmit, to an augmented reality device, a link that indicates the code;
• receive, from the augmented reality device, a request to communicate via the communication session, the request comprising the code;
• establish the communication session with a data feed from a camera;
• receive, from a remote technician device, an indication to guide the camera towards a position;
• and
• provide, for display on a display device of the augmented reality device, a guide icon based on the indication to guide the camera.
