Propagating blockchain messages

A computer-implemented method of obtaining blockchain messages, wherein a blockchain network comprises a plurality of blockchain nodes, wherein each blockchain node is associated with one or more respective range of numbers and one or more respective sets of blockchain nodes, wherein each respective range of numbers is associated with a respective set of blockchain nodes, and wherein the method is performed by a second blockchain node and comprises:

• subscribing to a respective network address associated with a respective range and a respective set of blockchain nodes;
• and
• obtaining a first blockchain message sent to the respective network address.

A computer-implemented method of propagating blockchain messages, wherein a blockchain network comprises a plurality of blockchain nodes, wherein each blockchain node is associated with one or more respective range of numbers and one or more respective sets of blockchain nodes, wherein each respective range of numbers is associated with a respective set of blockchain nodes, and wherein the method is performed by a first blockchain node and comprises:

• determining a respective number based on a first blockchain message;
• and
• if the first number is within one of the respective ranges associated with the first blockchain node, making the first blockchain message available to each blockchain node belonging to the respective set of blockchain nodes associated with the respective range.
