Network connectivity and reachability monitoring in a cloud environment

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memory storing instructions that, upon execution by the one or more processors, configure the system to:
• receive, from a device, input indicating (i) a destination that belongs to a virtual cloud network, and (ii) a set of vantage points from which the destination is to be tested;
• cause, based at least in part on the input, a first source to be deployed to a first network location associated with the first vantage point and a second source to be deployed to a second network location associated with a second vantage point;
• receive, from the first source, first probe data based at least in part on first probes sent to the destination, the first probe data indicating a first test metric;
• receive, from the second source, second probe data based at least in part on second probes sent to the destination, the second probe data indicating a second test metric;
• generate test data based at least in part on the first probe data and the second probe data, the test data indicating at least one of connectivity or reachability of the destination;
• and
• cause the test data to be presented at a user interface.

One or more computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, upon execution on a system, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

• receiving, from a device, input indicating (i) a destination that belongs to a virtual cloud network, and (ii) a set of vantage points from which the destination is to be tested;
• causing, based at least in part on the input, a first source to be deployed to a first network location associated with the first vantage point and a second source to be deployed to a second network location associated with a second vantage point;
• receiving, from the first source, first probe data based at least in part on first probes sent to the destination, the first probe data indicating a first test metric;
• receiving, from the second source, second probe data based at least in part on second probes sent to the destination, the second probe data indicating a second test metric;
• generating test data based at least in part on the first probe data and the second probe data, the test data indicating at least one of connectivity or reachability of the destination;
• and
• causing the test data to be presented at a user interface.
