A system comprising:

• a first access point (AP1) configured to perform an intra-basic service set (BSS) sounding of a first station (STA1) to obtain an STA1-AP1 intra-BSS left singular matrix U11;
• a second access point (AP2) configured to perform a cross-BSS sounding of the STA1 to obtain a STA1-AP2 cross-BSS channel matrix H12;
• and
• the STA1 configured to determine a new STA1-AP2 cross-BSS channel matrix

A station (STA1) comprising:

• a radio configured to receive an intra-basic service set (BSS) sounding from first access point (AP1) and receive a cross-BSS sounding from a second access point (AP2);
• and
• a processing circuit configured to:
• determine an STA1-AP1 intra-BSS left singular matrix U11 based on the intra-BSS sounding from the AP1;
• determine a STA1-AP2 cross-BSS channel matrix H12 based on the cross-BSS sounding from the AP2;
• and
• determine a new STA1-AP2 cross-BSS channel matrix
