Abstract
An electrical conductor includes at least one first terminal and at least one second terminal spaced apart by a middle segment configured to support conductance of an electric current between the at least one first terminal and the at least one second terminal. The middle segment includes at least one integrated heat sink.
Claims25
An electrical conductor comprising:
- at least one first terminal that is a first end;
- at least one second terminal that is a second end;
- and
- a middle segment configured to space apart the first end from the second end, and to support conductance of an electric current between the at least one first terminal and the at least one second terminal,
- wherein the middle segment includes at least one integrated heat sink.

A high power electrical system comprising:
- an electrical cabinet including:
- at least one heat generating component,
- an air inlet, and
- an air outlet;
- and
- a plurality of electrical conductors at least one of the plurality of electrical conductors having a first end
- wherein at least one of said plurality of electrical conductors includes at least one integrated heat sink,
- wherein the at least one integrated heat sink is thermally connected to the at least one heat generating electrical component at a first location of the at least one heat generating electrical component,
- wherein the first end of said electrical conductor is electrically connected to the at least one heat generating electrical component at a second location of the at least one heat generating electrical component, and wherein the first location and the second location are different locations.
A method of producing an electrical conductor including at least one heat sink, the method comprising steps of:
- providing a digital representation of the electrical conductor;
- providing a first layer of electrically conductive material;
- and
- providing a plurality of subsequent layers of the electrically conductive material thereby forming a first end, a middle segment, and a second end of the electrical conductor,
- wherein the at least one heat sink is formed as an integrated part of the electrical conductor.
