Connector

A connector comprising:

• a housing;
• a fixing shaft made of resin and configured to fix the housing to a plate-shaped casing;
• and
• an operation lever for operating the fixing shaft,
• wherein the housing includes a main body and a flange protruding outward from the main body,
• the fixing shaft includes a shaft portion that is inserted through a through hole provided in the flange and a lock protrusion protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the shaft portion and configured to sandwich the casing between the lock protrusion and the flange,
• the fixing shaft and the operation lever include a cam mechanism configured to convert movement of the operation lever in an operating direction into movement of the fixing shaft in an axial direction and convert the movement of the operation lever in the operating direction into movement of the fixing shaft in a rotational direction about an axis,
• in conjunction with the movement of the operation lever in the operating direction, the fixing shaft moves between a locked position at which the casing is sandwiched between the flange and the lock protrusion and an initial position at which a distance between the lock protrusion and the flange is longer than that at the locked position, and
• a rotational position of the fixing shaft about the axis when the fixing shaft is located at the locked position is different from a rotational position of the fixing shaft about the axis when the fixing shaft is located at the initial position.
