Abstract
According to one embodiment of this disclosure, a pouch-type secondary battery includes an electrode assembly and a pouch accommodating the electrode assembly, the pouch including a sealing portion sealing an external surface of the pouch and an inorganic coating layer formed on an external surface of the sealing portion, wherein the sealing portion may include a coating portion in which the inorganic coating layer is formed on the external surface of the sealing portion and a non-coating portion in which the inorganic coating layer is not formed on the external surface of the sealing portion.
Claims13
A pouch-type secondary battery, comprising:
- an electrode assembly;
- and
- a pouch accommodating the electrode assembly, the pouch comprising:
- a sealing portion sealing an external surface of the pouch;
- and an inorganic coating layer formed on an external surface of the sealing portion;
- wherein the sealing portion comprises a coating portion on which the inorganic coating layer is formed on the external surface of the sealing portion, and a non-coating portion on which the inorganic coating layer is not formed on the external surface of the sealing portion.
A method of manufacturing a pouch-type secondary battery, comprising:
- preparing a pouch-type secondary battery in which an electrode assembly is accommodated in a pouch;
- and forming an inorganic coating layer on an external surface of a sealing portion sealing the external surface of the pouch, wherein the sealing portion comprises:
- a coating portion on which the inorganic coating layer is formed on the external surface of the sealing portion;
- and a non-coating portion on which the inorganic coating layer is not formed on the external surface of the sealing portion.
