Assembly with battery status display

An electric bicycle, comprising:

• an assembly, comprising:
• a housing including an exterior surface defining at least one aperture;
• one or more battery cells to power the electric bicycle;
• a display assembly;
• and
• a battery pack assembly;
• wherein:
• the housing is configured to receive the battery pack assembly and the display assembly;
• the display assembly is disposed interior to the exterior surface of the housing such that a display device aligns with the at least one aperture;
• and
• the display device is configured to:
• present a status of the one or more battery cells based on a power level of the one or more battery cells;
• and
• maintain presentation of the status of the one or more battery cells while requiring substantially no power to maintain the presentation of the status.

A method, comprising:

• providing a housing of an assembly of an electric bicycle, the housing including an exterior surface defining at least one aperture, the housing configured to receive a battery pack assembly and a display assembly;
• and
• disposing the battery pack assembly and the display assembly within the housing, the battery pack assembly including one or more battery cells, and the one or more battery cells to power the electric bicycle;
• wherein the display assembly is disposed interior to the exterior surface of the housing such that a display device aligns with the at least one aperture of the exterior surface, wherein the display device is configured to present a status of the one or more battery cells while requiring substantially no power to maintain presentation of the status.
