Abstract
An electrical operating device includes: a casing; a cam shaft rotatably supported by the casing; a cam, which rotates together with the cam shaft; a potentiometer, which detects a rotational angle of the cam shaft; and a potentiometer cover. The potentiometer cover includes: a holder that holds the potentiometer, mounting portions mounted to the casing; and urging portions that are located between the holder and the mounting portions and that cause the potentiometer to be in contact with the casing.

An electrical operating device comprising:
- a casing;
- a cam shaft rotatably supported by the casing;
- a cam that rotates together with the cam shaft;
- a potentiometer that detects a rotational angle of the cam shaft;
- and
- a potentiometer cover including:
- a holder that holds the potentiometer;
- mounting portions mounted to the casing;
- and
- urging portions that are located between the holder and the mounting portions and that cause the potentiometer to be in contact with the casing.
